How to keep busy with your family or on your own

Being under lockdown has given us something we never had enough of – time.

If you have extra time on your hands, here are three things you can do to help stay busy:


  • First of all, stay in touch with your parents, grandparents and friends. We live in the digital age and this enables us to contact one another in lots of different ways.
  • This is a good time to try out new and exciting recipes. You can also get the children involved and they can help you whip up something delicious.
  • Give yourself time to exercise in order to keep the body fit and healthy. Exercise is a great way to clear your head. If you really feel that you can’t exercise properly without some fitness accessories, try finding some DIY solutions on how to make your own exercise equipment. For example, you can make your own weights by using bags of rice or 5ltr water bottles.

It’s important to put additional time to good use but remember not to put too much pressure on yourself. Stay strong and safe.
