Transformers Animatronics coming to Emperors Palace

From March to May, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and the Rescue Bots will invade the African continent for the first time in Transformers Animatronics at Emperors Palace.
Visitors can look forward to breathtaking sculptures made from wrecked cars, on display against the scenery of the legendary planet, Cybertron, which will be brought to life through eye-popping performance technology.
This travelling exhibition of international standards will feature 12 animated Transformers, nine sculptures scaled between 2m and 11m made from car parts, and a further 20 statues varying in size.
In addition, an impressive arsenal of weapons used by the Transformers characters will also be showcased.
Autobots and Decepticons will also feature prominently, accompanied by the latest Dino Bots and famous Rescue Bots, the famed pre-school series that has expanded the Transformers fan base.
The exhibition will be hosted from March 3 to May 28 in the Big Red Shed from 10am to 7pm daily. Tickets are priced at R155 for adults, R100 for children between five and 17 years, and R95 for pensioners and students.
Children under the age of five years enter for free, and families of four (two adults and two children) pay R440. There are special packages available to school groups.
