The Royal Moscow Ballet will return to the Theatre of Marcellus stage at Emperors Palace on March 4 and 5 as it pays tribute to Great Russian composers Sergei Rachmaninov, Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Aleksander Borodin.
Founded in 2002 by principal dancer and choreographer Anatoly Emelianov and creative director Anna Alexidze, the dance company consists of principal dancers from leading Russian choreography schools.
The company has toured around the globe, having performed more than 980 shows, and for the first time will perform alongside the Children’s Russian Academy of South Africa.
Audiences can look forward to enjoying a programme that will feature scenes from Paganini, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker, to name a few.
Presented by the Edouard Miasnikov Agency, tickets to the Royal Moscow Ballet are priced from R200 per person.
The shows on March 4 will be performed at 3pm and 8pm, with a Sunday matinee show on March 5 at 3pm.
